Introduction
This is a photo album of an annual Plein Air adventure I take with my paintings buds who are equally inspired by painting out in the elements--whether in the warm sunshine, in record breaking down pours, record breaking heat, snow, damp and dank NW mist, or fog. All the better for challenging paintng conditions and views!
Thanks to their companionship--we together forge through those biting deer flies, wind and whatever else Mother Nature has in store for us--palettes in hand. There is power in numbers, as they say. Without their mutual respect and love for plein air painting it wouldn't be nearly as exciting or fun.
